North Forest Beach

Forest Beach consists of North Forest Beach and South Forest Beach, which are the two miles of shoreline that begin at the Ocean Gate of Sea Pines Plantation and end on the cul-de-sac at the Crowne Plaza Resort.

North Forest Beach consists of a one mile stretch of Oceanfront and Ocean Oriented land that starts at Coligny Circle and continues north to the Crowne Plaza Resort. Many Islanders would agree that this is the best shoreline on Hilton Head Island. This quaint South End community contains walking trails, Ocean bungalows, single family rental properties, multi-family rental homes and villas. North Forest Beach has maintained a community feeling being that it has remained private due to it ending at a cul-de-sac. This limits the amount of Island traffic to and from this area. The homes stretch 8 rows deep from the Oceanfront back along the edge of Shipyard Plantation.

At the beginning of the community, across from North Shore Villas and Sea Crest Villas, is Coligny Plaza. Coligny Plaza contains of over 60 shops and restaurants, as well as Coligny Theatre. This movie house was established in 1972 and has a habit of attracting smart minded clientele by showing independent film releases.
